Brian and the boys had a couple of visitor's today
Brian was peaking out of the garage door.

Excuse the messy house in the back ground but I love this picture of Axel combing Abel's hair after a bath. He is such a good helper. Okay all you MN people what is up with your weather?! It is so NOT fair. I still have at least 6...yes 6 feet of snow in my yard. Lame- that's Axel's new learned word and it fits the snow situation perfectly. Alaska enough with the snow already! I have been dieing to get outside.
Abel snacking on a pickle
Look at those top teeth. He has 4 new teeth coming in-all on the top. It's funny because the 2 teeth on the side of the middle teeth came in first. I thought for a second he was going to have fangs! But luckily the 2 middle ones are coming in also. He has been doing really well with teething. No fevers and not really that fussy! Just drooling a lot. :)
Axel jammin on his V-tech. He got this for Xmas. He loves having his own computer to play when mom is on hers. The V-tech is really cool-lot's of learning games and activities. He has really been picking up his computer skills. I'm sure soon enough he will be teaching me things.
This was a rough week for me at work. Pediatric Oncology can really be a sad place to work. I love my job but man....some days I think working at the Gap would be easier. Thank you Axel and Abel for all the extra squeezes this week. And Axel's slug therapy! (we pretend to be Meerkat's and eat mandarin oranges-which Axel likes to say are slugs) Slimy but satisfying! That is all I am saying about that one.

Today we went to the Museum of Natural History in Anchorage AK. Preschool field trips are so much fun. I put a ton of pictures on today but every thing was cool to check out. Here's Axel in front of a bear skeleton.
His class learning about dinosaur's and fossils.
Dino bone fossil-they even got to hold a dino poop fossil. Axel thought that was super cool
Abel having fun during the field trip
Cheese

Axel loved that he could touch and feel almost everything in the museum
Hey just like in the Goonies!

One of Axel's favorite's was playing with the different animal eyes
Digging for dino bones
Another great Thursday. No work and all play! :)
Fur Rondy is the winter festival that is celebrated in Anchorage. It last two weeks and is full of outside winter fun. Fur Rondy celebrates that start of the Iditarod-that is next weekend. The are dog mushers downtown, a carnival and more. We went to check out the snow sculptures.
Axel's favorites were the dragons
Abel's first ride in the backpack carrier. We are going to use this a ton this summer. He was babbling the whole time. He was having fun going along for the ride and checking everything out.
Ice cream any one?

Another great weekend with my boys. Why do the weekends go so fast?
Brian and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary on Friday! Wow... 11 years. This is how my anniversary weekend started. I couldn't have asked for more! Thanks for so many amazing years Brian. I love you and can't wait to celebrate many more years together.
The boys brought us out for lunch today to celebrate with their parent's :)
Yummy.....nacho's and fajita's!
Axel's not quite ready for fajita's yet.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!
11 years of marriage is the year of steel. Brian and I did a little gun shopping the other day. It's very Alaskan to own gun. You can buy a handgun at Walmart! We have a gun safe so the boys are safe. Brian got some extra's to add to his shotgun and momma got a pink Sig :) Every year brings some thing new. Can't wait for all that will be.
