Spring is going fast

Axel got to attend early registration at Winona State University! He has declared that he will be in the engineering program. He got to meet some of his teachers and see his classrooms.

Free Big Macs for a year!

The new Mc Donald’s opened in Cannon Falls this week. With the opening they a deal for the first 50 customers: to have a free Big Mac a week for a year. B and I were intrigued and thought we would give it a try. The store opened at 6am, we were in line by 5am. Luckily we both got within the first 50. I was #41 and B was #42!!! 

We have 52 coupons for a free Big Mac or Egg McMuffin. Yeah!! 

To be honest I don’t know if I have eaten a Big Mac before this :) it was pretty good. I’m sure by the end of the year I’ll be sick of them but until then I’m going to enjoy! 

 

New ink

Pineapple tattoo:) 

 B and I got matching pineapple tattoos. We got them done when we were in the cities for our 25th anniversary. On our honeymoon we had almost gotten a pineapple tattoo but didn’t. Well 25 years later - we got them done. Happy anniversary B. Thanks for being willing to do silly things once and while. 

Rezz

Brian and I got to see Rezz when she was in Minneapolis. She is one of my favorite EDM artist. I love some good techno ! 

It was a chilly walk but stayed close enough to the Armory to just walk to the hotel

 Great show! The crowd was fun and it had a good vibe. It was pretty packed but all were friendly. 

Abel’s first job

Abel’s got a job! He started last week at Mc Donald’s. He is currently having a few orientation shifts in Red Wing. The new Mc Donald’s in cannon falls opens at the end of the month. Abel has officially worked two shifts . Excited to have him try something new and be bold and courageous! Go Abel ! 

 

Ansel turns 12

 Ansel B turns 12 !! Just like that another year has gone by. Ansel is rocking 6th grade. He is taller than me now! We’ll has been for a while. Happy birthday Ansel !!

He picked out a delicious lemon blueberry cake this year.

This award highlights the remarkable excellence demonstrated be each of one of you, and serves as a special opportunity to recognize the outstanding contributions and accomplishments you have achieved throughout your career. Congrats to each of you! Thank you all all that you do!

Proud of the nurses of my division. Love getting to recognize them for the hard work and ongoing commitment they bring to their units.

Agg. All the feels…Axel my first born. My beautiful blue eyed baby. I’m so proud of you. Here you are - entering the next giant chapter in your life- adulthood. You are so bold, brave, smart, compassionate and curious about the world. Keep exploring and learning how you can make your impact. I love you so much. Always remember your mom is your biggest fan. I now start to step into the audience of your life instead of being the co-director.  Please keep calling your mom :)
