Our Christmas

Finally catching up on our Christmas. We celebrated early- on Monday the 23rd- since I worked the 24th and 25th. I always like to have a day that we stay in our PJ's and don't leave the house. This year wasn't totally like that but you have to work around what you got! It was so much fun watching the boys open gifts and play all day. Axel LOVED his robot dino and Abel has been a grilling master! He was even feeding the baby bump- that's the picture with my tummy in it. I hate working the holidays but now all that is behind us. I have the next few days off with my boys home and we plan on trying out all of our new stuff.
This year the boys got: spy gear, a grill, robot dino and gorilla, bat man/super man/ ninja turtle,  puzzles, legos/building blocks, new teddy bear, flashlights, maze books and SO much more!
Thanks again to all of our family for spending time together and spoiling our kids.

Another great family get together. Good food, kids being spoiled and lot's of laughs. The robot game was the best aunt Tracy! Now I get to work the rest of the week- enter pout face- but it was a fun weekend celebrating with family. I'm sure the boys have plenty of things to play while I work! Another year coming to an end- did this year seem to go in warp speed? Hope every one has a wonderful Christmas. I have to work but at least all of my family is at home healthy and safe in their beds.

Christmas is in full swing now. We had both families this weekend- since I work Xmas. I will pout about that one another day but for now let's focus on the Hamblin family. It was great to finally get all of us together, eat good food and enjoy each other's company. Every one got totally spoiled, ate too much and crashed hard when we got home. Of course we couldn't make it through Xmas with out one of us being sick- since it has happened every year. This year I have had a super sore throat and bad cough and Axel was throwing up the night before and threw up once we got home. I still don't have much of a voice but Axel is back on the mend playing with all of his awesome new toys. Thanks to every one for the memories and spoiling us! Kaylee I can't wait until next year when we both have our new little dudes to share in the fun :)

Santa

Santa 2013

The boys both did a great job with Santa this year- or "Ho Ho" as Abel calls him. Abel walked right up to Santa and gave him a high five then climbed on his lap. Last year he cried and didn't want any thing to do with him. Axel asked for a remote controlled dinosaur and then said Abel would like some chap stick! Wow, way to plug a good one for your little brother Axel! :)  Abel sang "Ho Ho is coming to town" all the way home. So much fun already this year.

More holiday fun

The stocking are hung
Abel's daycare Christmas show. The kids cried  sang songs. Abel didn't cry or sing much but he did a great job pulling his arm out of his shirt and making funny faces. Once we got home he couldn't stop singing- "Jingle bells and Ho Ho." It was a pretty interesting show :)

Marsh mellow fight with Buzz

Axel had a Christmas show with his religion class. Of course I didn't bring my camera but ended up wanting to take pictures. So here are a few crummy phone pictures. He was so proud of his singing. One of the songs he sang was- twinkle twinkle little star. During that song the kids made hand signs for different things- like a diamond and star. Axel made a heart during the ending of the song. When he got back in to his seat he said "Mom did you see my heart? I was making it just for you." Such a honey! Love you boys so much!!!

The Holiday Train

The Holiday train

The boys and I braved the cold last night to see the holiday train. We got to see the train pull up, hear it's horn, watch the band and even see Santa. Axel was bummed because he didn't get a candy cane from Santa- but he reassured me it wasn't the real Santa any ways. Abel just kept saying "Mom Ho HO." That's what he calls Santa. It was freezing out but fun to see all the lights on the train.
