Abel 3 years old

Abel turned 3 on May 21st. This is what he is all about this year:

Favorites:

Color- Red

Food- Apples or cheese. That's what he said when I asked him.  He is a great eater. He will try almost any thing and normally likes it. He loves milk- mostly white milk.  My breakfast kid.  The second he wakes up he says he hungry. 

TV show- Yo Gabba Gabba.

Toy- Any super hero or any thing to do with cowboys. 

Gear- This was the year of gear and hats!  Abel LOVES to dress up or play pretend.  Loves to wear stuff- belts, things hanging from the belts, boots, masks, watches, capes or any thing cowboy or spy related.  He always has a hat on.  Any hat he can find!

Brothers:

Abel loves his big brother so much.  You can just see it in his eyes. He loves to do any thing Axel does. They also plays well along side and separate from each other. They are best buddies and enemies at the same time. Either the play perfect together or they are fighting.  Some days it amazes me how many times I have to asked them not to hit each other or throw some thing at each other. Boys!  Abel does very well with his little brother also.  Some times he forgets how little he is but he is gentle with him and loves to show the baby toys or just talk to him.

Personality:

Abel is such a sweat heart.  He is soft and gentle but will also give his big bro a lashing when needed. He says the nicest things all on his own; like "your the best Momma" and  "I wuv you". He loves the word "What?" Says "do you remember that one day...." (and then will tell a story about some thing that happened during the last week) Calls his stuffed animals "his pets." I can't believe how advanced his verbal skills have become this year.  Full sentences and so many questions about every thing!  He hasn't had to go to daycare since the baby was born.  He loves to be home with one of parent's or at grandma's.  Abel loves going to Brian's work.  Running around a factory is so much fun!  Still working on potty training.  Not taking it to serious yet.  When I ask let's go to the potty  he will answer "not right now."  Most days he will pee in the potty once or twice but no real pattern to it yet.

Sleeping: 

He sleeps in his own room on a toddler bed.  It is always a struggle to get him to stay in bed.  He likes to walk into our room at least 2 times every night.  We bring him back to bed and still in the morning he ends up on our couch in our bedroom with out us knowing about 70% of the time.  

Weight: 27.5 pounds

I think the age 3 is one of my favorite! So much fun watching Abel become a little person with his own ideas and personality.  He is such a character and I am bless to be his Mom. Love you Abel. Can't believe that you are already 3 years old!
