11 months

Can you believe it Abel is 11 months old! Only 4 weeks and he will be a year old! When did that happen? I hope this month goes slowly.

I can't believe how much my little boy has grown. He continues to change every day.

Happy Easter

Happy late Easter to every one! We had a great day. Cooked a beautiful ham and oven roasted garlic mashed potatoes! Yummy. (I think Axel ate a peanut butter sandwich) kids.....
We stayed in our PJ's all day. Had a egg hunts-inside-because we got more snow on Easter! I was not impressed but a lot of people in the state was excited because we broke the snow record-some thing like 132 inches of snow this year! Thankfully it has been around 50 degrees all this week and things are really melting! I was VERY excited to see grass.
Axel didn't care that the egg hunt was inside. He even did good sharing the eggs with his brother-of course it was nice that he got all the candy this year.
Next year Abel you can have your eggs full of candy too!

Axel had a party at Preschool also. He also had real eggs that hatched at school! They got to hold the brand new baby chicken. I didn't bring my camera(the one day I forget it). Maybe his teacher will send me a copy of the one she took. Axel thought the baby chicken was very cute and soft.

Blue berries

Look at this silly little one! First time trying blue berries. He seems to like them and of course they are nice and messy!

And a double bath after the new snack. Axel wasn't to sure about sharing his bath toys.

Abel has been suffering a never ending cold. He has had a runny nose and cough for it seems like weeks. The coughing has been getting really bad at night. We brought him into the doctor's today and of course.....he has an ear infection. (on the left side) I hope he starts to feel better. Poor buddy.

Abel loves copying any thing that we do, especially Axel. He will raise his hand or shake his head to follow any one's lead. His new favorite is to dig in the toy bins like his big brother does.

10 months old

Abel turned 10 months old!
He's enjoying bath time with his big brother showing him how to splash.

Axel thought it would be fun to play in Abel's crib with him.
Abel is 10 months! It really blows me away how fast he is growing. Things he is up to this month:
* army crawling every where
*starting to get up on his knees more-not crawling on them yet though
* learned to clap and wave- he is really in awe with his hands. They do the coolest things :)
* starting to pull up on things! Like the toy boxes or Axel's step stool
*he has 6 teeth (2 on the bottom and almost 4 on the top)
* he loves eating new foods. Non baby foods he tried-peaches, garlic mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets, spaghetti and pizza. (Of course he only eats little bites of the real food.) I was surprised with the garlic mashed potatoes but he really dug them! It's alot more messy letting him eat real food but fun to share our dinners with him. Thankfully I got a Kirby vacuum!
*he holds his own bottle and has to look around while drinking. His big brother is always doing some thing that is worth watching!
