Happy Easter everyone!!  We had a great weekend.  Ate a ton of candy, some ham, turkey and then More candy!!  We spent time with family-played some games and had an egg hunt.  I have to say it was nice not worrying about working the weekend!  Hope every one got to spend some time with the ones you love.

First Fire

 First fire of the year!  I love this time of year.  Fires, smores and being outside more.  Yeah, for spring! 

We have been super busy lately.  We are moving, I'm finishing school and have started a new job.  The weeks have been blowing by!!  We've been trying to take it one day and one change at a time.  Couldn't think of a better way to clear the mind and have some good family time but a fire!  I'm sure there are more to come.

Abel had his first cavity that had to be fixed.  Our dentist in town didn't want to fix one in some one so young- and they don't use gas- so we brought him to a Pediatric Dentist in the cities.  They did a great job keeping him (and me) calm during the process.  He got 2 of his 4 (yes 4!) cavities fixed last week and will having to go back one more time to fix the rest.  I hope this is a learning moment for us all to brush our teeth better. 

Einstein

Axel dressed up for his presentation on Albert Einstein.  I attempted to record it, but when I got home my video was only facing the ground!  Oops.. guess I was a little distracted.  Axel did an awesome job with his presentation.  He discussed a little bit about Einstein's history, who he was married to, how many kids he had, stuff he liked to do, where he lived and what makes him famous. He did the whole project by memory and totally rocked it!!  He told me that he picked Einstein for his project on some one from history because he likes Math and Science just like him!

1st day of spring

Finally the weather is starting to get nicer outside.  I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time outside this summer! The boys have SO much energy to burn off.

Today was one of those days that you reflect as a Mom and say how can I do better?  What am I doing wrong? And why are the boys so crazy some times?!  I know they are kids, they have their own spirits and ideas to learn and grow from but it just burns me out some times.  This week I'm caught up in my own adult stresses-new job, different/more hours worked, finishing school, etc.... And I just don't have extra to give at night.  I get upset when I hear they give grandma (our daycare) a hard day and I am sad that I feel like I'm missing some thing.  How can I do better by them and teach them to be better?  I know they aren't going to be good all the time but man I feel like it's on me when they aren't! I love these crazy, high energy little people so much and I want them to be good to others, their brothers and to know when to give their Mom a brake :)  Tonight I will set the home work aside, watch some mind numbing TV and go to bed early.  Tomorrow is a new day with new ideas....or new energy right?!   AHHH!!! Some days just end rough...
