Yay!! Axel passed his drivers test! I was so nervous for him. Way to go Axel! It’s so weird having a kid old enough to drive. Be safe Axel and have fun with this new chapter of independence. 

New Year’s Eve

 New Year’s Eve weekend was spent at a AirBNB on lake vermilion. It was right next door to the property my friend Kiersten and Jesse bought. It was a chilly weekend but we had a great time. Sat in the hot tub, chilled in the sauna, played games, went for a hike and totally disconnected. Thanks for having us Lawson’s! It was a much needed weekend away.

Frozen lakes are so pretty. We could hear the ice moving and freezing at night. It was cool.

Axel turns 16!

 First of all… look No braces! The week after his 16th birthday he got his braces off!

My first born is 16!? I love seeing you grow into your own person. You spend a ton of time with the girl friend, you started to work at infinity, you are taking your drivers test next week, you like food and still enjoy sports and just hanging out. I love you so much! Teen years are different to navigate but I’m learning along next to you. You’re a great big brother ! I can’t believe you’re 16!! This year is going to be a great one!!

Ski time

 We missed a week but was super glad to get back on the slopes. The snow wasn’t too bad today. Not icy and even had a light layer of fluff. We continue to get better and everyone is testing their limits a bit more each time.

Another year comes to an end. Wow 2023 went fast. The boys enjoyed the break from school. We didn’t get to ski much because the weather was warm and rainy. We laid low, ate food and went to a movie. No matter the challenges that present throughout the year I am humbled and blessed with this amazing little family of mine.  Cheers to 2024!
