Catch up

 

B and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary on 2/24.  We laid low and went out for dinner at Buca's.  It's kind of our place.

This has been the year of COVID tests.  Having an option to test at home has been nice but I am so done with testing the kids for COVID.  I don't like putting them through the test. The school has lots of rules about testing the boys.  Any time they miss school for any symptom they have to have a negative test to return to school.

The Truck

We ordered a truck back in August.  IT has finally arrived!  This has been the longest wait for Brian! 

Love having Claire during the week 

We are luck enough to have Claire at our house sometime after school.  She is fun to play with and I love that she is getting to know all of us.

Chocolate Pudding Fruit

 We love trying new fruit.  The chocolate pudding fruit has been on our list for a while now.  I found one online and ordered it from Florida.   

We had to wait a few days for it to get ripe and ready to eat.  The whole fruit got soft and it was ready.  You can eat the whole fruit.  The skin was sweat and the inside didn't have much of a taste but had the consistency of pudding.  I thought it was was simple, sweat and kinds delicious.  The boys all liked it also.

So many fun delicious fruit in this sample box.  There was a mini banana, dragon fruit, garlic fruit, star apple, limes, tomato like fruit and golden berries to name a few.  The golden berries were super yummy.  They tastes like mini oranges.

We celebrated Ansel’s birthday in Duluth. We ate good food, attempted to get outside and swam in the pool. It was a great weekend- I love Duluth any time a year.

This was my first time to eat at the rotating restaurant.  It was fun to slowly spin around while eating. The view was amazing!

The hotel was connected to the sky ways. It was a great way to explore downtown and not have to be outside the whole time. 

We found a cupcake place in Superior Wis . It was the first big mission of the trip - find good cupcakes!
