Zoo Lights

We got the boys out of the house and went to the holiday lights display at the MN Zoo.  It gave us a chance to get out of the house in a COVID safe way.  I really wanted to go to one of the big light shows- like the one in Wis. but still a little to rouge for me.  It was "ok".  It was fun to get every one out, have snacks check out some lughts.

Christmas

Christmas looked really different this year.  No big gatherings and no running to other houses.  We did Christmas COVID style.  We stayed home and didn't run into people.  My parent's stopped by and Grandpa Rapp came over for dinner but otherwise we stayed home, ate food and played with all the new gear.

Christmas spirits
Merry Christmas everyone.  I know this year was a strange one with no crowds and extra people.  We still had a nice time (once the drive way was cleared from snow)  It's a nice reminder to be home, be present with the people around us and enjoy the little things like hot chocolates and Christmas movies.

Boys are so gross!

Why are boys so gross??!!! So we have ‘someone’ that doesn’t like to flush after they go potty and use WAY to much toilet paper!! Aaggg. So yes I made them scoop out the mountain of toilet paper so the toilet would flush. I can’t even tell you how many times I plunge the toilet, wipe pee and poo from the toilet seat. Why boys why??? Seriously so gross.  I now have them clean their own bathroom. I am impressed that they back each other and don’t call each other out on who hasn’t been flushing but it makes me worry that it’s all of them at separate times! Gross just gross . Yes I told them that I was taking a picture and was going to post it here just to remind them how completely gross they are.

Ready for Christmas

We are ready for Christmas in our house.  The trees are up and all the decorations are out.  I love the vibe all the lights add to the house.  This tree was placed by my grandma Bev's chair.  I filled the tree with all the ornaments that I got when she passed.  I used to get her a Tiffany's ornament each year for Christmas.  I did this for about the last 10 years.  Since she passed I have gotten myself one to continue the tradition.  I love taking them out each year and looking at the notes and years we gave them to her.  I miss her so much.  She was one of my most favorite people and each Christmas makes me remember how much she meant to me.  I miss our Wednesday phone calls.  She really was the person in my family that understood me the most and was truly a cool lady.
You can't see the crystal ornament but they are there :)
The one 'fancy' corner of the house.  I placed all the boxes out this year under the tree. :)
Red nose has gotten out of quarantine

She is still wearing a mask to keep us safe

Ansel's art work- What would you do if Santa was stuck in the chimney?
His answer was: He wouldn't know what to do!?

We are counting down to Christmas.  So glad for online shopping this year!
