Biggest Candy Store in MN

We went to the biggest candy store in MN.  IT WAS AWESOME!!!  It was HUGE and had so much candy!  There was sections of gummies, chocolate, gum and candies I haven't seen since I was a kid.  There was also a whole wall of different soda's to choose from.  It was totally overwhelming and so cool at the time.  I had heard a bunch about it from girls and work and thought where is Jordan MN?  Luckily its only an hour away from us :)  Abel said he wants to spend every one of his Birthdays at this store!
So many options!

The gum section

What a fun random day adventure!

Be a blood donor

One of my personal goals this past year was to get my gallon pin for donating blood.  It take a total of 8 donations to get the gallon mark.  I'm O+ which means I am a universal donor- any one can use my blood.  So I have begun donating about every 12 weeks.  I will continue to donate when I can- now to work towards the 2 gallon pin!

Burgers with my boys

King's burgers for dinner!

Nummy

Frickles
We tried fried pickles or Frickles.  Not as good as we had hoped.  They were actually really gross!  What a bummer because we love pickles and fried things but not a good mix I guess?!  :(

S'more fires

Grilling hot dogs on the fire pit

S'mores with fudge stripes
This summer we have been trying new s'more options.  This time we did fudge stripes in place of the graham crackers and chocolate.  It was pretty good but the boys said they prefer the original.

Golfing

The boys have started to play golf!

Ansel enjoying a soda and the sun

The boys summer challenge of learning how to golf has begun!  It is fun to see them trying to figure out the sport, enjoy being outside and getting something to do with dad.  They have a long ways to go but I hope they can continue to have a passion for learning a new sport.

Fun with food

Cheers to the Bourbon Butcher!
The Bourbon Butcher in Farmington is one of our favorite new-ish places to eat.  Super good burgers, smoked meats and a crazy fun drink menu.  There is a whole page of special sodas and lemonades! They also have a lot of fancy adult drinks.   If you haven't been here you should try it!

Just eating ice cream by farm equipment

Dragon Fruit

Axel liked it.
The dragon fruit was pretty good.  It had a good texture and plain taste.
Abel loved it

Ansel did not like it

4th of July

Cannon Valley Fair!
We love having a fair in our town on the week of July 4th!

Big rides for the older boys!
Axel loves the big rides and couldn't wait to try them all.  Abel jumped right on the ride with his big brother but DID NOT like the ride at all!  He screamed and SCREAMED!!  After he was little white in color and ready to not go on any other rides.

It's so boring hanging out with the brothers

My attempt to get all three to look at me :)

Axel won or lost a bet
Axel got to go to the fair with his buddies on the 4th.  He came back with this hat.  His friends mom apologized that he bought it.  When I asked him about it he said it was a bet to see who would buy it.  I don't think he realized how offensive this hat could be to women. I asked Axel so are you a Boob man?  He blushed and we talked a lot about winning bets, offensive words for women and how you carry your self in public.  Oh boy... it's just just not him.  Peer pressure has begun!  Yikes.  It was a minor lesson but started lot's of good conversations.

We were lucky enough to get some of the Co family to stay with us
Thanks for the visit!!
