REZZ at Red Rocks

Red Rocks is hands down the best place to see show! 

It was a chilly night. I think about 38 degrees. 

Fall in Colorado. I love the mountains! We went just for two nights but still had a great time. 

 

Hot Sauce

 Hot sauce is done! This year we produced Tabasco and Habanero sauce. 

We have the process down. It’s pretty easy. Chop up, cook a little, strain and let sit for two weeks. Strain one more time and then bottle. Boom- hot sauce! 

We grew so many Habaneros this year ! First time trying these. The sauce is super hot but has great flavor.   

Halloween

 Axel said he had nothing else to do so he would go trick or treating with us until his friends showed up. It was fun to have him with us!

Step - up program

 

I finished the Step- Up program. It is a leadership program through the  Mayo Clinic. It is a 6 month leadership development program that you had to apply and get accepted to. It had great presenter’s from all over leadership at Mayo. I had a group project with 6 other leaders at Mayo. We presented about fast tracking FTE approvals. It was well received. Then I put together an individual portfolio from the 6 months to show what was learned and how I can apply it to my leadership practice. I thought it was a good program and learned that networks are important, keep pushing yourself but also learn when to say no. So many great people to absorb information from. 

Go Bombers

Bombers homecoming. We won 80-13 against Pine Island. 

 

COVID

 Well Ansel gets his chance with being COVID positive. Boo. He spiked a temp the other night (up to 102?)  with no other symptoms. The next morning he still had a slight fever and still no other symptoms. I had to swab him because he missed school. Just like that it came back positive? Aagg.. he was quarantined for 5 days. No symptoms after the first day and a half. It was hard on him staying in his room and not getting as many hugs as he normally does. I gave him one of my bells to make it fun to call me. He was very excited to over use the bell! The rest of the family had been feeling good. 

Veggie’s

 The garden has been doing great this year. We have a lot of tomatoes, sweat peppers, habaneros and basil. We have been making spaghetti sauce and freezing tomato packs for chili this winter. 

These guys are SO hot. Freezing them until we turn them into sauce.
