Colorado adventures

 

Sand Dunes! We stayed at the cutest glamping site close to the Royal Gorge. The dunes were hard to climb. We did make it to the top of one dune but it just keeps going. The weather was hot and dry. It was a fun day!  

This is the second glamping site we stayed at. It was close to the sand dunes. It was much more rustic. No power and a zipper door. It had a wood burner for heat.

We were lucky enough to stay with Tom and Linda for a night. It was great to see their place and Tommy’s new place. Thanks again guys for having us- the food was awesome.

Pikes Peak. We drove to mile 16 after that point you had to take a bus. We decided not to do that. Honestly we were high enough. It was so scary driving up there! 

It was a wonderful trip to Colorado! It was a much needed break and reset. I love traveling with Brian. Thanks Ann for watching the boys!

 Abel Martin Turns 11! Abel just completed 5th grade. He is officially a middle schooler!! Abel is sweet, good to his brothers and is pretty easy going. He still gives me the tightest hugs and likes to hang out. He enjoys video games, is learning tennis and likes to ride his scooter. This year we finally got to do a friend party to celebrate Abel! We love you so much and are so proud to be your parents. 

Mother’s Day

I just love the hand made gifts from school! They are so excited to give them to me and the stuff the write about me makes me cry! It’s crazy how well they know me! I really appreciate the sweetness of my boys (even it is only for a short time on moms day)

We spent the day at Minnehaha falls. We biked and explored then went to Pizza Luce for dinner. It was a wonderful day!
