We decided to get Ann's bathroom updated. It all started with a drain in the tub not working right.  With a TON of help from her brother Jim it turned out like this! Amazing.  My pictures do not do it justice.  He changed the bathroom from a shower/tub unit to a walk-in shower completely tiled with granite and marble.  I love how the grey, black and white turned out.  I can't wait to do our bathroom now :)  Thank you so much Jim for the outstanding job!!

Cake and Cupcakes

Ansel's 1st Birthday has already Came and Gone- Way Too fast! Here are a few pictures from the days around his big day. Cupcakes with his brothers on his B-Day and then cake at grandma's over the weekend.  Thanks to every one who celebrated his day with us- sorry my plans are so minute these days :)

Finally the weather seems to be turning warmer.  I love this time of year when every thing seems to be changing.  The snow is melting and things are turning green and starting to grow buds.  I love all the spring energy in the Air.

Brian and I got tattoo's!  Now we both have one for each boy.  Finally Ansel is in Ink :)  We did them on separate days.  Brian got his on Friday when I was working.  I got pouty and ended up getting my after work on Saturday.  It was fun to be so spontaneous and just do it.  Cheers some new Ink!!

Nobel Peace Prize Forum

Last weekend I attended the Nobel Peace Prize Forum.  It was a conference about inspiring peacemaking.  It was hosted by my college Augsburg. There was focus on human rights & democracy, and disarmament & sustainability.  It was the first time I have EVER been away from my boys for two nights in a row .  It was only in Minneapolis but it was still so much fun to stay in a hotel for 2 nights.   I'm a total nerd for taking this as my first trip away. Anyways... it was pretty cool. I heard discussions/presentations from amazing people from all over the world- one evening being an ex-president!  It has been intimidating and eye opening to me on what some people do and have been through.  The two days flew by and I got a ton of clinical hours for school.

The boys enjoyed cupcakes together but we are going to celebrate Ansel's B-day this weekend with family.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANSEL!! I can't wait for what is to come this year.
