Glad we made it to Duluth over MEA weekend.  It was a last minute planning but still lucked out and got a hotel room that fit our family.  We stayed at the Water Park hotel.  The hotel was kinds junky but room had bunk beds and fit what we needed.  The boys loved the water park and could have spent the whole weekend there.  All three did the water slides! We played mini golf a bunch of times- during the night was one of the most fun.  I mean going to go golf at 10 pm!  Vacation mode is the best.   We ate our way through Duluth- Pizza Luce, The Chocolate Factory- twice and Burrito Union.  Some of my old favorites.  I don'think we have gone up to Duluth since we moved back to Minnesota- in 2012!  I guess it was time.  I hope to go again next summer.  The three hour drive was about perfect for the kids.  I love the fall colors in Duluth and happy to share one of my favorite MN stops with the kids.  I just love Duluth! 

Cross Country

Axel joined Cross Country.  He has been running any where between 1-6 miles a day! He really likes it.  I got to attend one of the meets- it was so fun to see.  I can’t wait to see what other new things middle school brings.  Running is such a great habit to learn to love.  I hope he sticks with it.  Maybe he can get his mom jogging a little bit.
