Axel's Robotic competition

Here we are at the end of a year again!  This year went too fast as usual.  We a busy year.  Axel is in 5th grade, Abel in 2nd and Ansel is in Pres-school.  The boys stay busy with church school, Robotics, playing legos, time on the Xbox/their computers and of course wrestling and going back and forth from fighting to being best friends.   Having three boys sure is full of energy and non-stop action. This year is rough with loss.  Both of my grandma's lost their battle with cancer.  It was a huge void not having either grandma at Christmas.  I have been continuing to learn the role of a nurse manger of post-partum.  It is such a great place to work and I enjoy the challenges my new role brings daily.  One other big thing at happened this year if Ann moved in with us.  She has been staying in the office as we work to finish her 'Ganny Suite'.  The garage is complete and the work on her room has begun.  (pictures to come).  Brian, me and the boys went to Hawaii right before Christmas.  It was our first family trip of 5.  We had a wonderful time- I will share pictures soon.  I try to remember all that this year has brought to a complete and started new.  Cheers to another year coming to an end, while another begins.  Happy New Year to everyone!

Grandma Haan

My Grandma Haan

Holding baby Ansel
This year has been full of emotions and loss.  My grandma Mary lost her battle with cancer.  I feel such a void not having a grandma any more. I miss her so much.  Grandma thank you for always taking time to come see us. (this wonderful women had 18 kids, 40 some grand kids and 14 great grand kids!)  I have so many memories as a child staying at my grandparents farm.  It was the best!  We got to polka in barn, play in the hay loft and name all of the baby cows.  I loved dancing in her kitchen with my aunts, getting my hair pin curled for church and she made the BEST cinnamon rolls. Miss you.
